Aircraft Disinsection in Dallas-Fort Worth
Dallas-Fort Worth is the business aviation heart of Texas, and its long-range fleet flies south to Brazil, Chile and Paraguay and east to Italy, four destinations that require the aircraft to arrive disinsected. We perform pre-embarkation disinsection at Dallas Love Field, DFW, Alliance, Addison, Meacham and McKinney, on the empty aircraft before boarding.
Why Dallas-Fort Worth departures need a disinsection plan
North Texas sits inside our central response region, so a Dallas departure can often be served on shorter notice than the coasts. The South American routes are the ones to plan carefully: a non-stop to Santiago or Sao Paulo is treated at the Dallas ramp, while a technical stop in Central America or the Caribbean moves the treatment to that stop.
From Texas and the Gulf Coast the routes that most often trigger a disinsection requirement run south: Barbados, Chile, Brazil and Paraguay, plus transatlantic flying to Italy.
Dallas-Fort Worth sits in our central response region: book 36 to 48 hours ahead as a rule, and some departures can be served with 12 to 36 hours of notice. We travel to the aircraft; nothing repositions to us.
