Aircraft Disinsection in Las Vegas

Las Vegas convention and gaming traffic includes a steady flow of long-range departures to Asia and the Pacific, and Macau, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand all require arriving aircraft to be disinsected. We perform pre-embarkation disinsection at Harry Reid International, Henderson Executive and North Las Vegas, on the empty aircraft before boarding.

Why Las Vegas departures need a disinsection plan

Macau is the route that most often needs the certificate from Las Vegas, and it is usually flown with a stop in Honolulu or Asia, which moves the treatment to that last port. Non-stop Pacific departures on ultra-long-range aircraft are treated at the Las Vegas ramp before boarding.

From the Mountain West the routes that most often trigger a disinsection requirement are Pacific itineraries to Australia and New Zealand, usually via Hawaii or the West Coast, along with Italy and the Caribbean.
