Aircraft Disinsection in California
We perform pre-embarkation aircraft disinsection at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Van Nuys Airport (VNY), Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and John Wayne Airport (SNA) and 25 other California airports: the treatment is applied to the empty aircraft on the ramp or in the hangar before boarding, and the certificate is written there. California is the largest Pacific-facing market in the country, and Van Nuys, the Bay Area fields and San Diego send aircraft to Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines every week.

Routes from California that require disinsection
From the West Coast the routes that most often trigger a disinsection requirement are Pacific: Australia and New Zealand first, then the Cook Islands and the Philippines, plus South America to Chile.
The usual California routes are above; the requirements by country table lists every country we have verified.
For a California departure, 36 to 48 hours of notice is the rule, and a scheduled booking holds the date. The treatment is pre-embarkation disinsection with an EPA registered aerosol at the WHO dose, applied to the empty aircraft at your California departure airport. The crew leaves with the signed certificate listing every can serial number, the ink stamped company affidavit, the General Declaration wording, a destination reference sheet, the EPA label sheet with SDS and TDS, and the used cans bagged and retained on board.
