Aircraft Disinsection for Corporate Flight Departments

You know the aircraft, the crew and the principal’s schedule. What you may not want to become an expert in is which destinations require disinsection and how to satisfy them. That is our job.

What a flight department gets from us

A single point of contact for every disinsection requirement your international schedule generates. Send us the trip as soon as it is likely and we confirm what applies, hold the plan, come to your hangar or FBO at the time your boarding requires, treat the empty aircraft, and hand the crew the certificate. Your scheduler does not have to research the destination and your crew does not have to spray a cabin.

For departments that fly the same routes repeatedly, that turns into a standing arrangement: we know your aircraft, your base and your typical destinations, and each trip becomes a short message rather than a project. For departments with Australia or New Zealand on the calendar, we help with the operator paperwork those countries expect and we start it early.

Where we fit in your process

Trip is filed, disinsection requirement identified, Pure notified with destination, departure airport, date and tail. We confirm the requirement, schedule around your boarding, and coordinate directly with your crew or handler on the day. The treatment is performed on the empty aircraft after catering and cleaning are complete, the aircraft is ventilated and released for boarding after the required wait, and the certificate goes aboard with the flight documents.

Route check

Tell us your route and we will confirm exactly what your aircraft needs.

Destination, departure airport, dates. We confirm the requirement, come to the aircraft, and handle the certificate.

The service

Pre-embarkation disinsection, in brief.

A WHO-approved, US EPA-registered 2% permethrin aircraft aerosol applied to the empty aircraft, cabin, flight deck and holds, at your US departure airport before boarding. The aircraft is ventilated and boards after the required wait. Valid for one flight sector. Certificate issued on completion; the crew records the treatment on the General Declaration from the details we provide. Performed by our own team, anywhere in the United States.

We handle disinsection for US flights to Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Greece, India, Bangladesh, Jamaica, Chile, Barbados, Paraguay, Brunei, Morocco, the Solomon Islands, Egypt and the Cook Islands, among others. Australia and New Zealand carry operator paperwork we help with; start early.

Questions

Questions we hear from flight departments

Can you work directly with our scheduler and crew?

Yes. Most flight departments have us coordinate directly with the scheduler for planning and with the crew or handler on the day of treatment.

We fly the same international routes every quarter. Can this be a standing arrangement?

Yes. Once we know your aircraft, base and typical destinations, each trip is a short message with dates. We hold the plan and come to you.

Our principal is sensitive about anything sprayed in the cabin. Is that a problem?

Pre-embarkation is performed with the aircraft empty, and the aircraft is ventilated before anyone boards. The product is a WHO-approved aircraft insecticide, and there is no spraying with passengers aboard.
